Today’s Tip: Catnip Uses (Other Than Cat Crack)

Submitted by A Natural Day on Friday, 15 January 2010No Comment

catnipEverybody knows catnip as that stuff that makes your cat wacky, but catnip was a medicinal plant long before it became known as ‘crack for cats.’ The whole plant can be used, fresh or dried, as a tonic among other things! A kitty-nip infusion (like tea) can be used as treatment for colds and chills and to promote sleep. Other uses include menstruation stimulant and as a remedy for colic, stomach acidity, and gas.
