Today’s Tip: Black Cherry As A Sedative
The dried inner bark of the black cherry tree (often in tincture or syrup form) makes a good sedative should you be suffering from sleepless nights. The bark is also an astringent and aids in digestion. An infusion of the dried bark is a remedy for coughs, colds, bronchitis, and catarrh. DO NOT use the leaves or seeds of this cherry tree as they are poisonous!! And if while searching for this tree you meet a black horse that wants to marry you, well, that’s a whole other thing isn’t it?
