Today’s Tip: Bathe Your Cold Away
We love this “cold care” bath recipe from The Essential Oils Book by Colleen K. Dodt. If a winter cold has left you miserable, try this soothing bath and see if you don’t feel a zillion times better!
“Cold Care” Bath:
*5 drops eucalyptus essential oil.
*2 drops peppermint essential oil.
*2 drops lavender essential oil.
*Add these oils directly to a tub full of warm water, mix them well, then relax and get better. This blend can also be used as an inhalant and a massage oil. For inhalant: add blend to a simmering pot of water and, you know, inhale. For massage: add blend to a 1/2 ounce of base oil (like sweet almond oil) and massage into your chest for cold relief.
