Standard Tap: Not Your Typical Bar Fare

Submitted by anaturalday on Thursday, 3 September 2009No Comment

standard tapStandard Tap, that warehouse-looking bar and restaurant in Northern Liberties, is the perfect stop for unusual beer and bar fare. Located on 2nd and Poplar Streets, this engaging spot opens at 4pm on weekdays and is open for brunch on the weekends.

This establishment offers local beer favorites like Flying Fish and Dogfish Head, Weyerbacher, McKensize Brewhouse and a slew of other beers with names that are hard to pronouce.

Menu choices include Squid, Octopus, Duck Salad, Mussels & Sausage, Fried Oysters, Beet Salad, and the Chickpea & Portabella Sandwich. Best of all Standard Tap buys from local farmers and breweries, making this establishment an environmentally-consious choice for your next meal!
