Philly AIDS Thrift: Loovve This Store!

Submitted by anaturalday on Sunday, 24 January 2010No Comment

philly-aids-outside-300x224Philly AIDS Thrift has the be the best thrift store in Philadelphia. It seem to literally have everything…clothes, shoes, toys, books, movies, games, knick-knacks, comics, dishware, flatware, coffee makers, jewelry, posters, post cards, black and white photos from back in the day, beauty magazines from days of yore, trading cards, odds and ends, stuff and things, and a basket of doll heads for 50 cents each that reads “The Best Head In The City.”

Perhaps best of all it’s completely non-profit and proceeds go to local AIDS service organizations!

It’s the kind of place you end up spending way more time in that you thought you would because there’s just so much fun and interesting stuff everywhere you turn. The kind of place you want to go to every day, like anywhere that says “Free Sundaes!”.

You can find Philly AIDS Thrift at 414 Bainbridge Street (5th and Bainbridge).
