Encourage your children, nieces, nephews, friends’ children, or any kiddies in your life to appreciate our place in nature. Take them to Nature For The Young: The Bird Tree, a Schuylkill Center For Environmental Education event for “young naturalists-to-be” between the ages of 18 months to 4 years.

Kids can learn all about the different seasons and prepare a “bird tree” for the winter birds of the Schuylkill River. Stories, songs, crafts, outdoor activities and more make up this day of “natural world” exploration.

Nature For The Young: The Bird Tree takes place on Friday, December 18th from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.  It is $8 for Schuylkill Center members and $10 for non-members. Get directions to the Schuylkill Center here.
